September

It's back to being quiet during the day. I have to say I am enjoying it so far. It gives me time to do things I put off when the kids are here during the summer. I have got a lot organized and a lot of stuff done I needed to.

Our ladies Bible class starts tomorrow, I'm not sure yet what the topic will be but with Miss Miller teaching it, it can't be anything but good.

My dad has started his radiation treatments and will be doing them every weekday for a month.

I noticed yesterday when I talked to him that his voice is changing and they have told him he may lose it completely and they can't guarantee it will come back after the treatments are finished. He doesn't seem to be worried about it, but that's my dad. He was just joking that as long as he didn't get back a girl voice it was ok.

I think this is the first time ever that they won't be able to come up for Tawnya's birthday. She was talking about it yesterday and said we could go down there sometime. I think it was bumming her out too and then when I did talk to mom and dad they mentioned it also.

So far school is going good for the kids. Carl grades are down some but the teachers said to give him a little time to get adjusted and see if they go back up. I think with the extra freedom he has this year he feels like he don't have to try as hard and that has caused some problems already.

The girls' grades seem to be good, Tawnya just don't like some of the changes they have made this year.
