MONDAY

It's going to be a quiet week this week. Carl is gone to his first church camp. Hopefully he will make some new friends and enjoy it.
We needed the break too, this is the first time he has been away from us in about a year and a half and sometimes you just need some quiet time to refresh.
It is so different trying to raise a child that is not yours, especially with the limits put on you by the state, it gets very frustrating at times.
The theme for Carl's week is Character Counts, so maybe he will learn some things that will help him with his attitude and the way he behaves. Sometimes hearing things from someone other than your parents lets it sink in more.
I plan on doing some things with the girls this week. Tawnya and Taylor can enjoy some time together and Paul and I have some things planned with Tawnya in the evenings. She needs some time with her mom and dad alone and seems to be looking forward to it.
